Today the VIR race weekend kicked off with the promoter's test day. All went well during the day as Spencer, Steve, and Randy all took laps. The team has some trouble initially as the front anti-roll bar links broke twice making the car a handful in the esses, but one the problem was cured the times started to come down. Late in the day there was a rare clutch problem so the Zip crew tackled it late last night so the team is ready to hit the track first thing tomorrow.
This weekend the forecast calls for rain so things should get even more interesting. Look for more updates this weekend.
